MEET GAYNELLE

More than a hobby, painting has taught me to see and experience the world with a renewed intentionality and slowness. For decades, life was breathless and hurried, always leaping from one task to the next without more than a few days respite. As I enter a steadier chapter of life, I am experiencing the gift of uncommitted time, a more discerning and less distracted eye, and the opportunity to put more paint to canvas. 

My paintings indulge things I have spent years overlooking and hurrying past. As such, many of my paintings showcase and linger upon people, things and places I love. I hope something within my body of work indulges something - a feeling, a memory, a longing, or a hope - within you, too.

As one who has built a career in residential real estate and continues to serve clients in DFW, I have an affinity for homes and the foundational role they play in our lives.
